Disover The Real London
Maison Bertaux
For those with a sweet tooth Maison Bertaux in Soho is pâtisserie heaven. Established in 1871, a small slice of 1950s rural France has been transported to Greek Street. Very bohemian, a little pricey admittedly, but very genuine.
It's the delicious cakes and pastries that keep the customers coming back for more. All baked on site, the almond croissants, coconut macaroons and tart au citrons are to die for. And as for those éclairs! Naughty but nice.
Leicester Square and Piccadilly Circus.
14, 19 and 38 all go down Shaftesbury Avenue.
Coach & Horses pub next door if you're looking for something stronger.
