Disover The Real London
St Michael Paternoster Royal
St Michael Paternoster Royal on College Hill was rebuilt by Christopher Wren in 1694 following the Great Fire of London in 1666.
St Michael's is famous for its association with Dick Whittington. The four-times Mayor of London paid for the rebuilding of the church in 1409 and was buried in the chancel. Stained-glass artist John Hayward celebrated his life by creating the Whittington Window (pictured) in 1968.
