Disover The Real London
Gordon's Wine Bar
Gordon's Wine Bar was established on Villiers Street in 1890 and is reputedly London's oldest wine bar.
Once inside Gordon's, you will find the old posters are peeling, the walls are sweating and the candelit cellar (pictured) is positively claustrophobic, but the wine is superb and the atmosphere alluring. In Summer you can escape outside to a seating area facing Victoria Embankment Gardens.
