Lord's Cricket Ground
Lord's is quite simply the home of cricket - all the world's best cricketers such as Shane Warne, Sachin Tendulkar and Jacques Kallis dream of perfornming at their best here. Built by Thomas Lord in 1814, Lord's is run by the MCC, and hosts two England Test matches every summer as well as most of Middlesex's county home games.
If you cannot get to see a game then a guided Tour of Lord's is the next best thing. Very much access-all-areas, you are taken to the see the Ashes urn in the Museum, enter the pavilion to visit the hallowed Long Room and England dressing room and take the view from the futuristic Media Centre.
