| Kyoto Garden is an oasis of calm hidden away in beautiful Holland Park. The one-acre garden has been created in the traditional Japanese "tour garden" style and depicts the natural landscape in condensed form - the waterfall symbolises the steep mountain and deep gorges and the pond a vast ocean. Best seen in Autumn when the red and gold colours emerge. |
| The Chamber of Commerce of Kyoto created the garden for London's 1991 Japan Festival to celebrate the centenary of the Japan Society in Britain. |
