Bermondsey Antiques Market
Bermondsey Antiques Market is the place to buy Georgian, Victorian and Edwardian collectibles, especially furniture, silver, china and glassware, but also several other fantastic and unique items that make it such fun to root around for a bargain. The market is open early every Friday morning.
The market has been at Bermondsey since 1949. Formerly it started in 1855 as a much bigger operation at Copenhagen Fields off the Caledonian Road. In the 1920s, there were over 2,500 stalls, many with a reputation for selling "hot" gear. Thankfully the market now is a lot more respectable.
