Herne Hill Velodrome
Herne Hill Velodrome, built in 1891, is London's only cycle track, and the only surviving sporting venue remaining from the 1948 London Olympics.
The velodrome is used constantly throughout the year for track racing but there are many open sessions for non-members, children and straight beginners to try their luck on the 30 degrees concrete banking.
