Brockwell Lido
Brockwell Lido is a fabulous Art Deco-style (built in 1937) open-air swimming pool where the good people of Brixton and Herne Hill go to cool off in the hot Summer months. Thanks to a very recent £3 million restoration, the lido's future has become secure providing a year-round facility, adding gym, hydrotherapy pool and three new studios for pilates, aerobics and yoga.
The lido lies within the surprisingly hilly 120-acre Brockwell Park, dominated in its centre by the Georgian Brockwell Hall.
