| One Tree Hill |
| Similar to Primrose Hill and Parliament Hill in north London, the hills of south-east London provide an excellent, if less well-known, belvedere for the central London skyline. The best is probably One Tree Hill in Honor Oak Park. |
| Climb the steep steps past the haunted-looking St Augustine's church, turn left at the Oak of Honor tree and finally reach the top where you will find the whole of London laid out before you. |

Queen Elizabeth I is reputed to have rested under the original 'Oak of Honor' tree on Mayday 1602. |
