Disover The Real London
Brunswick Centre
The Brunswick Centre was created by architect Patrick Hodgkinson in 1973 as high-density, low rise housing alternative to the then dominant high-rise tower blocks. The two concrete step pyramid-style blocks house 560 flats for 1644 people.
After a recent £24m facelift, the Brunswick has been transformed into a smart retail, dining and entertainment destination, including art house Renoir cinema and high end shops such as Waitrose, Chocolat Chocalat, French Connection and House of Flowers.
Russell Square.
The Brunswick has all the usual high street eateries - Giraffe, Hare & Tortoise, Carluccio's, Strada and Patisserie Valerie.
